ARTHRITIS: WHY IS THE PRESCRIBED PARACETAMOL ... BUT NOT THE MOST EFFICIENT!

Often at the forefront in the treatment of pain associated with osteoarthritis, paracetamol does not yet would be most effective for calming. Swiss researchers demonstrate the benefits of another controversial drug.
Although it is one of the most known drugs, paracetamol is not as effective as we think diminer for pain associated with osteoarthritis. Researchers at the University of Bern (Switzerland) made this conclusion after an extensive analysis of the effects of 22 different pain medications. Whatever the dose, paracetamol was only "slightly better than a placebo."

Diclofenac, more efficient ... but more risky!

Conversely, the analysis showed that it is diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which would be most effective in relieving osteoarthritis pain. Its effects are superior to other commonly used NSAIDs like ibuprofen, naproxen, and celecoxib. But beware ! The researchers warn against cardiovascular and gastrointestinal risks associated with this treatment when taken long term.
